I immigrated to Canada where socialism has a decent manifestation.
Then, I moved to the US for my PhD at UCSB — a public school.
Since then, prior to that, and forever, I readily advocate socialism.

Then, you moved to the US for your PhD at Harvard — a very private school! Since then, unprobably prior to that, and likely forever, u advocate capitalism
